Ayurvedic Honey-Glazed Salmon (Pitta-Kapha Balancing)

Ayurvedic Benefits:

  • Salmon’s omega-3s reduce inflammation (Pitta)

  • Honey + ginger aid digestion (Kapha)

Ingredients:

  • 2 wild-caught salmon fillets

  • 1 tbsp raw honey

  • 1 tsp grated ginger

  • ½ tsp turmeric

  • 1 tbsp ghee

  • Lemon wedges

Method:

  1. Marinate salmon in honey, ginger, and turmeric for 10 mins.

  2. Pan-sear in ghee 4 mins/side until caramelized.

  3. Squeeze lemon before serving.

Dosha Tips:

  • Vata: Serve with roasted sweet potatoes.

  • Pitta: Add cooling cilantro-mint chutney.
